Xavier High School is an all-male, Catholic, Xaverian Brothers sponsored school for students in grades 9-12 located in Middletown, Connecticut. It is a premier school known for its academic excellence and development of young men to be high achieving, life-long learners. Xavier offers 20 Advanced Placement Classes and 13 courses can earn students credit at the University of Connecticut. Every year Xavier graduates attend the top colleges around the United States.

We guide all students in educational and vocational needs, helping them prepare for college, for work, and above all, for life itself.

Our philosophy is based upon the following goals:

2018 RoboticsXavier is home to 700 students from 60 different towns around the state of CT and 5 countries including Korea, China, Spain, Brazil, and Nigeria. Xavier students participate in 18 different sports, nearly 40 clubs including an award winning robotics program and nationally recognized Engineering Club. Xavier students form connections with their peers and teachers that last beyond graduation. Xavier’s Campus Ministry program fosters the spiritual growth of its students through service opportunities, retreats, and Catholic liturgies. Xavier also offers engineering, business, computer programming, music, fine arts, and performing arts classes.

Winter 2018 – Xavier Wrestling team wins Southern Connecticut Conference Championship

March 2018 – Chairman’s Award for FIRST Robotics Competition in Fairfield, CT

April 2018 – Real World Design Challenge International Contest Winners

May 2018 – Xavier Golf Team wins Southern Connecticut Conference Championship

May 2018 – Xavier Student Chris Fosdick win’s inaugural CIAC Golf State Open Tournament
