A dedicated, award-winning faculty leverages leading-edge technology, small classes of 25 or fewer students, and a student-faculty ratio of 16:1 to create an academic environment very conducive to critical thinking and original scholarship.                                                           The school is situated near picturesque Sleeping Giant Mountain in Hamden, Connecticut, just 8 miles north of New Haven and midway between Boston and New York City. Quinnipiac University Welcomes International Students, Providing Support Services and Financial Assistance

Quinnipiac actively seeks out students from around the world to contribute their cultural and scholastic assets to the university’s well-rounded student body.
Quinnipiac offers qualified foreign students International Scholarships which are awarded based on a student’s strong academic achievement in his or her home country. The university is not able to provide full funding for all annual costs, and not every student will receive scholarship aid. Students’ families are required to provide statements of financial support if their children are selected for admission to Quinnipiac.

The Office of Multicultural and Global Education is the campus resource for immigration matters and also provides a variety of services and activities to ensure the time at QU is both academically and personally valuable and fulfilling to our international students.

The Learning Commons offers complimentary academic tutoring as well as sessions to improve study techniques, writing skills and research methods.

Career Services provides assistance with résumé writing, interview skills and job placement. A survey of recent graduates indicated that close to 90 percent were either employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. Each year about half of students in internships are offered permanent jobs as a result of their work.
