In addition to 31 honors, 12 AP, and Early College Credit courses, Saint Bernard School offers students several differentiated programs.

Orchestra performanceAt Saint Bernard School we put an emphasis on each student’s development and achievement. Saint Bernard provides a wide range of resources to assist students in making educated decisions about courses, college planning, and identifying skills and abilities. Supports in the form of tutoring, writing support, and group study sessions are available to help students that may be struggling. Our ESL and introductory courses in US History and Government, Cultures and Religions, and English help international students grow in confidence and skills.

Choir PerformanceWe believe that balance is critical to a successful education, thus we offer a range of opportunities for our student to explore their passions. Beyond the classroom, 98% of students participate in over 43 clubs and organizations including student government and leadership; music, dance, theatre, arts; and multicultural and diversity groups.
Our learning community, which is infused with the teachings of the Catholic Church as well as the traditional Xaverian values of humility, compassion, trust, zeal, and simplicity, inspires students to form a greater sense of self, of others, and of purpose. Through our campus ministry programs, humanitarianism is fostered. All students participate in service projects ranging from mission trips to developing countries – to on-campus philanthropic campaigns.

Soccer GameWithin our athletic program student athletes have an opportunity to participate in 23 highly competitive varsity sports including: soccer, cross-country, cheerleading, fencing, wrestling, basketball, ice hockey, track & field, tennis, golf, lacrosse, baseball, and softball. Our teams accept students of all skill levels. In addition to a large basketball arena, Saint Bernard School boasts 119 acres of athletic fields for soccer, lacrosse, tennis, baseball, softball, track and cross-country. Golf and ice hockey teams use the Norwich Ice Center and the Norwich Golf Course for practice and competitions.
