Highlight:  The Gilbert School

The Gilbert School, located in the picturesque northwest foothills of Connecticut, is a private secondary 7 – 12 comprehensive middle/high school that was founded in 1895. The school is a result of the bequest of William L. Gilbert who left funds for the “establishment and maintenance of an institution of learning to be known as The Gilbert School.”  In 2016, The Gilbert School was awarded the U.S. News and World Report, Silver Medal of Excellence.  The Gilbert School is fully accredited by the Connecticut State Department of Education and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
